Position:

Marketing Associate

about the role:

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Marketing Associate with strong graphic design skills to join our exceptional team in Port Coquitlam, BC. 

The CSC LED marketing team's objective is to create a tier-1, professional brand image with our electrical wholesale customers and end users in mind. We strive to understand our customer's needs and current trends in the marketplace to provide customer centric solutions and award-winning marketing initiatives.  

The successful candidate will be responsible for, and assist in the build of, our new CSC LED Rewards program and will focus on Contractor (end user) outreach nationwide. 

 

Responsibilites:

• Assist in the creation and build of our new CSC LED Rewards program

• Conduct market research; update and analyze data

• Create a comprehensive and effective marketing plan targeting our end users to build our brand and encourage sign up and usage of the CSC LED Rewards program

• Create and maintain partnerships with affiliated associations and other online groups

• Create graphics and marketing materials in a very technical environment

• Maintain brand standards and style

• Maintain the CSC LED Rewards program online and monitor its analytics 

• Manage execution of materials with vendors as needed

• Design, build and maintain social media presence around the rewards program

 

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Marketing diploma/degree and/or minimum of 3 years work experience

Other Experience or Training:

  • 3-5 years of relevant and progressive graphic design experience  

Technical Skills:

  • Strong Adobe InDesign and Photoshop skills
  • Proficient with Adobe Illustrator
  • Must be comfortable working on a Mac / Mac software
  • Print file set-up production experience

Other Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to plan and prioritize tasks
  • Strong organization skills, e.g. file organization, task organization, etc.
  • Confidence to take on any task with minimal supervision
  • Creative, innovative thinker with left brain attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, French an asset
  • Strong professionalism and work ethics: discretion, reliability, and good judgment
  • Demonstrated track record in self-motivation, multi-tasking, time management, and achieving results
  • Works well both independently and as part of a team
  • Can make decisions, meet deadlines and perform under tight timelines and changing priorities
